Fortnite Raih “Game of the Year” di Golden Joystick Awards

Akhir pekan lalu, ajang penghargaan Golden Joystick Awards 2018 selesai digelar. Sebanyak puluhan judul game terbaik tahun ini berebut nominasi dan penghargaan di salah satu ajang penghargaan game tersebut. Enggak disangka, game Battle Royale Fortnite besutan Epic Games berhasil terpilih sebagai game terbaik tahun ini pada ajang tersebut.

Fortnite berhasil mengalahkan deretan game kuat seperti God of War, Assassins Creed: Odyssey, dan Red Dead Redemption 2 yang sangat diantisipasi tahun ini. Selain meraih gelar tertinggi "Game of the Year", Fortnite juga mendapat penghargaan Best Competitive Game. Tampaknya, popularitas Fortnite sebagai game Battle Royale yang sedang digandrungi oleh banyak orang di seluruh dunia tahun ini membuatnya naik dan mendapat anugerah tertinggi di Golden Joystick Award tahun ini.

God of War berhasil meraih desain dan audio terbaik juga mendapat penghargaan sebagai game Playstation terbaik di tahun 2018.
