DC dan Warner Bros. akhirnya merilis film solonya Joker pada Oktober lalu. Film yang disutradarai oleh Todd Phillips ini menuai beragam reaksi positif, dari segi cerita hingga penampilan Joaquin Phoenix sebagai tokoh utamanya. Film ini pun diprediksi bakal masuk nominasi di berbagai ajang penghargaan film.
Mendekati awal tahun baru berarti kita juga semakin dekat dengan musim acara penghargaan. Dua acara penghargaan film ternama, yaitu Golden Globe dan Critics’ Choice Awards, telah mengumumkan daftar nominasi mereka.
