Oscar 2022 atau Academy Awards kembali digelar pada tahun ini. Ajang penghargaan paling besar dalam industri persinemaan ini pun telah mengumumkan deretan pemenang dari total 23 nominasinya pada 28 Maret 2022.
Pada penyelenggaraan Oscar 2022, film The Power of Dog (2021) berhasil mendominasi daftar 12 nominasi. Menyusul film tersebut, ada Dune (2021) yang berhasil masuk pada 10 nominasi, termasuk untuk kategori “Best Picture”.
Sama seperti tahun lalu, penyelenggaraan Oscar 2022 juga bisa Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat melalui siaran langsung stasiun ABC. Penonton yang berada di Indonesia pun bisa menyaksikan siaran langsungnya secara streaming melalui situs atau aplikasi Disney+ Hotstar sejak pukul 07.00 WIB.
